Tips for Better Catalogue Photo

Packshot photography is all about selling your products. Every single catalogue photo has to work hard to sell both the product itself, and your business or brand. Getting it right is critical, and yet every year businesses struggle to keep afloat because they fail to make the right impact with customers.

Packshot photography should occupy your thoughts at every stage of the marketing process, and making the right choices early on can make a massive difference further down the line. When it comes to creating a catalogue photo it isn’t always necessarily the case that bigger is better, more expensive options are better ones or that technology is more important than ingenuity.

Professional photographers who work in the world of marketing know that often it takes more inspiration than perspiration, despite what some may say. That’s not to suggest it isn’t hard work, but one of the toughest things to come up with isn’t the set, the props, the models, the lighting or the equipment – it’s the idea. Once you have an idea then you’re up and running, although often that idea will require a good deal of nurturing, encouragement, trial and error, adaptation and serious thought.

Vinyl Banners

The WeddingVinyl banners have a variety of uses. Whether you want to promote your business in a unique way or you simply wish to have a vinyl banner that conveys a customized message, you can have them printed with very little complication. Most printing presses these days can handle a whole variety of printed materials, from the basic business card to more complicated items like magnets and vinyl stickers.

Having a vinyl banner printed will take some planning, however. It’s not so much a matter of typing out a message and hitting print. Rather, some serious thought has to go into the design process of it all. You can hire a designer to come up with the graphic content of your vinyl banners or if you possess some artistic skill, you can come up with something yourself.

When working up concepts for vinyl banners, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. For instance, you need to know the completed size of the banner you want to make. That way you can input the dimensions you’re going to use in the design program you’re using and ensure any flourishes or embellishments you make will fit within the confines of the banner’s border.

Mobile Banking Era

Today a mobile phone plays an important role in many facets of our busy lives. Banking via mobile phone is a relatively new concept, but it is one area of mobile possibilities where convenience and real-world usefulness can readily be identified. Consider the expediency of being able to transfer funds between accounts while commuting, or pay bills while waiting for a flight, or verify whether a transaction has posted to your account while you sit in the lobby waiting for a client meeting – all from your own mobile phone. Mobile banking allows customers to do these things and at the same time provides the data security necessary for financial transactions.

According to recent research, although over 80% of US households have internet access, only 75% of those (between 60 and 65% overall) have the high-speed access required for the secure transactions involved with online banking. That means that, at present, almost 40% of US households cannot realistically do their banking online. Contrast that with 90% of households that possess at least one mobile phone, and the convenience and accessibility of mobile banking become even clearer.
