Survive The Slow Economy In The Restaurant Business
Every restaurant owner right now is facing the slow economy. People save money on everything and going out for breakfast, lunch or dinner is one of the things.
After a period of making a decent living it is time to become more creative to keep our existing customers and maybe get some new ones.
I want to make a statement here.
If you keep on doing what you have been doing and do not make any changes, there is a chance you will not survive the next year.
In the last year I have seen restaurant small and big go out of business because of not adapting to the slow economy. Talk to your sales rep and ask him or her how many accounts they have lost the last year.
I am the owner of a small family type restaurant in Kentucky and have only been in business for a little over 4 year. That might not make me the most experienced restaurant owner. but I am still in business.
